USB-AUS

SUPPLIED BY FRONTLINE

USB-AUS is the Australian subsidiary of USBDÜSEN, a German manufacturer founded in 1989. USB-AUS designs and supplies sewer and pipe cleaning nozzles, root cutters and specialty cleaning products, all machined from stainless steel. Many designs are patented, and the range is continually refined through practical field testing and scientific development — precision and cleaning performance are the constant across every product. Frontline supplies the USB-AUS range to New Zealand contractors.

THE RIGHT TOOL FOR WHAT'S BLOCKING THE PIPE.

No single nozzle clears every blockage. Roots need cutting, grease needs rotation, sand and silt need moving rather than cutting, and hardened mineral scale needs an entirely different approach again. USB-AUS builds over 45 nozzles, cutters and inserts across seven categories to match that reality — precision-engineered stainless steel tools, each suited to a specific material, pipe size, or job type. Frontline sources from the full range so you're matched to the right tool, not whatever happens to be closest to hand.

The USB-AUS Range

Bottom Cleaners

Close-up of a metallic silver device with four circular ports or sensors on its side.

For heavy material that settles on the pipe floor — sand, mud, gravel and silt. These nozzles use flat or wedge-shaped geometry combined with directed water jets to stay low in the pipe and shift dense material, even in water-filled lines where a standard nozzle would simply float over the top.

Cleaning

The everyday workhorses of the range. General-purpose jetting nozzles for routine preventive maintenance and standard line clearing — from compact, economical nozzles for small residential pipes through to high-powered, narrow-jet nozzles built for heavy dirt, mud and larger debris.

Rotating / Vibrating

Close-up of a metallic robot with a geometric head and multiple camera lenses for eyes.

For grease, light scale, and fine roots that a straight jet won't shift on its own. Controlled-rotation nozzles cut and flush deposits through 360°, while vibrating nozzles use rapid mechanical agitation to break up harder material, matched to specific pipe materials and diameters.

Root Cutters

Close-up of mechanical chain link connected to a metallic component with mechanical teeth.

Turbine-driven mechanical cutters for roots, mineral deposits and other obstructions a jet alone can't remove. Combine high-pressure water propulsion with a rotating cutting chain or head, with guide skids that adjust or extend to handle offsets and varying pipe diameters.

XL Profile

Close-up of a metal laboratory or industrial instrument with a red component marked 'SB,' a horizontal arm, and a shiny cylindrical base.

Built for large-diameter and oversized pipework, where reach and mass matter more than manoeuvrability. Includes heavier nozzles designed to stay on the bottom of very large, continuously water-filled lines, plus combined cleaning-and-inspection equipment for large-profile applications.

Speciality

Close-up of a metallic dental implant drill bit.

Purpose-built tools for jobs standard nozzles can't handle — steerable nozzles that navigate into lateral connections and branch pipes, compact kits for domestic and small-pipe work, and setups that combine high-pressure cleaning with camera inspection in a single pass.

Nozzle Inserts

Close-up of a metal bolt and a rubber grommet or washer.

Replaceable ceramic and hardened inserts for maintaining or upgrading existing nozzle bodies, extending the working life of tools already in the fleet rather than replacing the whole unit.
