- WHY IT MATTERS

PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE, DONE PROFITABLY.

Sewerage and drainage systems require regular checks and inspections as part of preventive maintenance: removing silt, clearing jams, and preparing lines for inspection or repair. None of it can be done profitably without a high-pressure cleaning system built for continuous, water-efficient operation.

Both CANALMASTER models combine suction and cleaning in one tank, built around a continuous water treatment system with several cleaning stages that reduce fresh water use while keeping cleaning performance high. Robust, uncomplicated technology keeps operation simple and maintenance low.

Frontline offers both models to suit different scales of operation. ECONOMIC uses a single cylindrical tank, either a fixed partition with tip-emptying, or a piston-driven adjustable partition that lets the sludge/water split vary with the job, making it the simpler, lower-cost option for operators who don't need maximum capacity. PROFESSIONAL steps up to a centrally-mounted sludge tank alongside stainless-steel water tanks on both sides, giving greater combined water and sludge capacity, better axle load balance at full payload, and corrosion-resistant tanks built for longer service life. Both run the same water treatment technology underneath, so the choice comes down to volume and layout, not performance.

The Müller Range

Both CANALMASTER superstructures mount on a chassis with two, three or four axles, so the choice of axle configuration is independent of which tank model is fitted. Each is engineered for robust, uncomplicated technology, easy operation and low maintenance requirements.

Canalmaster WA Economic

Robust, uncomplicated cleaning power

White industrial utility truck with various pipes, tanks, and machinery, branded with 'Müller' and 'CanalMaster' logos, parked on a wet surface outdoors with cloudy sky and trees in the background.
An orange vacuum truck with a long arm extending from the back, working on a roadway with orange traffic cones near a grassy field and cloudy sky.

The ECONOMIC tank is built around a single cylindrical vessel, configured one of two ways: a fixed partition between the sludge tank and water chamber with emptying by tipping, or a piston-driven discharge with an adjustable partition that lets the sludge/water volume split vary to suit the job.

The water treatment system runs continuously through several stages. Suspended matter and silt are separated by a stainless-steel filter pivoted inside the sludge tank's filter chamber, which uses an electro-hydraulically driven ring filter and a rotary joint in the discharge cover. A vane vacuum pump then transfers the filtered muddy water to a stainless-steel cyclone battery, which separates out abrasive sand. From there, water settles in a laminar-flow settling basin with sedimentation zones before reaching the water chamber, ready for high-pressure re-use. Equipment for conventional (non-water-treatment) operation is also built in, so the system can switch back to standard suction and cleaning mode when required.

Additional features carried across the ECONOMIC build:

  • Sludge tank available with type approval to GGVSE/ADR regulations on request

  • High filling capacity in the sludge tank via a separate filtration chamber in the discharge cap

  • Vane vacuum pump fitted with additional outlets for external transfer work

  • Retrofit-compatible: the water treatment system can be added to existing conventional suction and cleaning vehicles

  • Rapid, maintenance-free run-down of the suction hose in inlet wells

Canalmaster WA Professional

Higher capacity, built for heavier duty

A large white vacuum truck parked on a dirt road with mountains in the background and snow on the peaks.
Orange utility vehicles, possibly fire or emergency trucks, parked on a wet road under a cloudy sky.

PROFESSIONAL runs the same continuous water treatment system as ECONOMIC, but changes the tank architecture to increase capacity and improve load handling. Instead of one cylindrical tank, PROFESSIONAL centres the sludge tank and adds stainless-steel water tanks on both sides, each with a split water chamber.

That layout brings four practical advantages over ECONOMIC:

  • A dedicated settling basin and sedimentation zone in each side tank's split chamber, improving sediment separation

  • Balanced axle loading even at full payload, since water is distributed across both side tanks rather than centred in one vessel

  • Greater combined water and sludge capacity than the ECONOMIC's single-tank design

  • Corrosion-resistant stainless steel construction on both side tanks, for longer service life

PROFESSIONAL also offers optional full jacketing of the tank groups for additional soundproofing, and the two side tanks provide extra surface area for company branding or livery.
