Jurop

EXCLUSIVE NZ PARTNER

Founded in 1976 in Azzano Decimo, Italy, Jurop is a manufacturer of vacuum pumps, displacement pumps, compressors and complete suction/jetting equipment, present in over 80 countries with a 35,000m² production facility. Frontline has worked exclusively with Jurop to bring hydro excavation trucks to New Zealand, built on Scania chassis and configured locally to meet NZ regulations.

- WHY HYDRO EXCAVATION

ONE TRUCK, NO DAMAGE TO WHAT'S UNDERGROUND.

Hydro excavation trucks built around Jurop's vacuum and jetting technology clear ground around live services using water and vacuum instead of a digger bucket. They are safer, faster and non-destructive around cables, pipes and historic or sensitive sites.

Jurop's core strength is customisation. Every unit is engineered for extraction and transport of hazardous waste, and high-pressure washing of industrial installations and sewers, built to unique specification rather than off a standard line. Frontline builds that same engineering into complete hydro excavation trucks for New Zealand operators.

Independent control is what sets a properly built hydro excavation truck apart from a standard vacuum unit. On Frontline's Scania-based builds, Scania's Live Drive flywheel-driven PTO lets an operator run vacuum, jetting, or both together, adjusting the performance of each on the fly rather than committing the whole truck to one function at a time. Backflow prevention is factory-fitted to comply with NZ regulations from day one.

The Jurop Range

The HydroEx and Combo trucks are built on a Scania chassis, on the same Live Drive flywheel-driven PTO platform that gives independent, on-the-fly control of vacuum and jetting, regardless of axle configuration. Frontline specs the axle count and GVM to the application, then builds the Jurop pump and tank system on top.

6x4 HydroEx

A white service truck with equipment on top, parked on the side of a road with a mountainous landscape in the background, including snow-covered peaks and a partly cloudy sky.

Compact hydro excavation for everyday sites.

Built on a Scania 6x4 chassis, sized for operators who need hydro excavation capability without the payload or footprint of an 8x4.

The lighter axle configuration suits tighter urban access and lower-duty jobs where a full-size build isn't required.

8x4 HydroEx

A white truck equipped with machinery and equipment for cleaning or servicing, parked in a lot filled with other trucks and vehicles, under a cloudy sky.

Full-capacity hydro excavation, built for NZ.

Built on a Scania G450 8x4 chassis, engineered to 26,000 GVM for the New Zealand market. Scania's Live Drive flywheel-driven PTO gives independent control of vacuum and jetting operation, so the drivetrain runs both systems together or separately without compromise.

6x4 Combo

Line of trucks parked in a lot, including a white truck in the foreground with a mounted crane or arm, and buildings in the background under a clear sky.

Vacuum and jetting in a single unit,

Built on the same Scania 6x4 platform as the HydroEx, carrying both vacuum excavation and high-pressure jetting systems on one chassis — a shared foundation with a different tank and system allocation to support both functions at once.

Idrovac Excavator

Deck-mounted hydro excavation, fits your existing frame.

A 2-axis-frame-mounted hydro excavator with a telescopic suction boom and a 500 bar high-pressure hose reel, driven by a self-contained 95hp diesel motor. Handles solids, liquids, mud or powder, with extendable pipes that reach rubble and demolition waste conventional excavators can't — non-destructive, and adaptable to different frame types.
